THE MENTOR PROGRAM...

Mentoring is a time-honored method for a more experienced person to help a less-experienced person learn new skills in a certain area, in our case, photography. As new as our club is, we have already attracted folks of all levels of experience, from experts in their fields to those who may just shoot photos with their phones (nothing wrong with that!) and all levels in between.

The Mentoring Committee is collecting a database of members who would like to participate, both those who would enjoy being mentors and those who could use a little help, so we need to gather some information from you.

Please fill out the questionnaire below, adding in the 'Additional info' field anything that would help us know what kind of help your looking for, such as;
  • Particular areas you’re looking for help in (camera use, composition, portraits, etc.)
  • Info that would better describe your experience level (or lack of!)
  • Maybe just someone to critique some of your photos

And of course we are looking for Mentors! A great chance to 'pay it forward'. Use the form on the right.

(All of this is for Members Only - so if you haven't joined yet, jump in!)

    Mentoring request

    Please add any info under 'Additional info' that would be helpful.
    See above - anything you think will help us.
    iPhone, Nikon D3100, Canon S-120, that sort of thing. Would be useful to mention how well you understand the camera.
